Born in West Palm Beach Florida and raised in the mountains of WNC Scott spent his childhood cutting his own trails through the woods, reading books in very tall trees, fishing in long forgotten ponds, and for the most part daydreaming. His consistent wandering attention never allowed him to focus on one thing for too long. Ultimately this led him to an occupation that allows him to do something different every single day. Whether it’s brokering a stressful real estate transaction or repairing a leaking toilet he does not shy away from a task. The phrase “That’s not my job” has never crossed his lips.

Scott and Stephanie proudly operate S&S Properties of WNC based on the family values that were instilled in them. They are grateful for the friends and family that support them and join them in this endeavor and for the clients that make it all happen.

Stephanie grew up in Cary, North Carolina and after being accepted into Appalachian State's Interior Design program she found her love for the mountains and the lifestyle that goes along with it. She met Scott while working in a restaurant in college and years later they were married, with a daughter, and chasing after their lofty goals of one day owning a design firm, real estate firm, and flipping and maintaining homes.

Fast forward almost ten years and Stephanie’s work experience spans from design projects for large multi-family, non-profit, and highly custom residential and transitions through property caretaking and vacation rentals. Her favorite part of her daily work, whether it be design, vacation rentals, or administrative tasks is the work put into building relationships with customers, clients, tradesmen, and creating a supportive and family-like approach to business.
